Within the framework of the Demokratie Leben! funding programme, ICPA’s “New Migration Narratives” project has been selected to be part of the second stage of impact evaluation of pilot projects in the programme area “Living together in the immigration society”.

On April 10, 2018, we started the phase of intense evaluation with a half-day workshop together with Camino – Werkstatt für Fortbildung, Praxisbegleitung, the evaluation company subcontracted on behalf of the Federal Ministry for Family Affairs, Senior Citizens, Women and Youth.

The facilitated discussion and review of the first 7 months of project implementation on April 10, has been an important and helpful exercise to improve the next steps of our project. Besides the impact evaluation of the project itself, we will also evaluate the impact of the reframing campaigns once they’re implemented.

Hence, we’re grateful having been selected for the intense stage of evaluation since we believe that significant learnings can be drawn from this for sustainability and effectiveness. Looking forward to the continued cooperation with Camino as well as the first results.
