 Within the framework of the Demokratie Leben! funding programme, ICPA’s “New Migration Narratives” project has been selected to be part of the second stage of impact evaluation of pilot projects in the programme area “Living together in the immigration society”.

After the start of the Narrative Change Lab with the first workshop “Campaigning to engage the middle in the migration debate” in December 2017, we finally had the second training session from March 21-22, 2018.

In the second feedback clinic on March 14, 2018, the ICPA team sat down with campaigner from Deutsch Plus and Wir Machen Das to find an overlapping values space that would appeal to the movable middle.

How can we frame messages around solutions in the European migration debate? Which communication approaches are out there? What can we do to broaden the migration debate rather than contribute to polarization?

The juicy work of fleshing out reframing campaign strategies targeting the movable middle got underway today in the first Feedback Clinic of our Narrative Change Lab.

From December 7-9, we hold the first workshop in the Narrative Change Lab, "Campaigning to the middle in the migration debate".
